Multiplayer AI

Multiplayer AI for teams

Multiplayer AI means your team and its AI agents work in the same live session instead of in separate private chats. In Evriq, everyone on a project opens the same conversation, sees what the agents are doing, and can step in at any point. The record of the work stays in one place for the whole team.

What multiplayer AI means

Most AI chat is built for one person. You ask, the model answers, and the history lives in your account. When a colleague needs to pick up the work, you copy and paste, or you start again.

Evriq is built the other way round. Work belongs to a project, and each conversation in it is a session that your team can open, follow and continue. Y Combinator named Multiplayer AI in its Fall 2026 Requests for Startups, describing teams that drop into the same live agent session to watch it work, redirect it and hand it off. That is the product we build.

Several people in one live session

A session on a shared project is open to every member of the workspace who can see that project. Everyone in the room sees who else is there, who is typing, and how far each person has read. A person with two tabs open counts as one person.

If a piece of work should stay with a smaller group, make the project private. Only the people added to it and your administrators can see it. You can also share a chat outside any project with the whole workspace, or keep it private to yourself.

Several agents, each with a seat

Each AI agent in a session has a seat on one provider, such as Claude, Codex, Gemini, DeepSeek or Grok. When someone sends a message, each seat takes its turn and then the session waits for the next message. That rhythm keeps people in charge of the pace.

You can change a seat's model in the model bar before its next turn. Running agents from different providers in the same conversation is covered on our multi-model AI chat page.

Step in, take over, pass it on

The person directing a session is its lead. Anyone who may steer the session can choose Take over and become the lead. Use Pass to hand the session to one named person with a note, and it waits in their inbox until they write.

Choose Watch to be told when a session needs a person. Write @ and a name to bring a teammate in. When someone outside your workspace needs one session and nothing else, use Invite a guest. A guest sees that session only, and the account names behind the agents are kept from them. Read more in the sessions help page.

  • Take over makes you the lead of the session.
  • Pass hands the session to one person with a note.
  • Watch alerts you when the session needs a person.
  • Invite a guest gives an outside person one session.

Review before it counts

When several agents share a session, they can check each other. A review round has every seat answer the same question blind, then see the others and revise once, then one seat writes a verdict. The verdict is a recommendation, and the person named as reviewer on the work item approves it.

We explain the full flow on AI review rounds.

Questions about multiplayer AI

Can multiple people use the same AI chat?

Yes. In Evriq a session on a shared project is open to everyone in the workspace who can see the project. Each person reads the same history, sees who else is present, and can reply in the same session.

How do I share an AI chat with my team?

Start the chat in a shared project, or share it with the workspace. Teammates open it from the project. To hand it to one person, use Pass and add a note. To bring in someone outside the team for one session, use Invite a guest.

Do AI agents take a paid seat?

No. Seats on the Team plan are for people at $49 per seat per month, and AI agents have no separate seat fee. Model use is billed by your own providers, and we add no markup. See pricing.

Can I try it before inviting my team?

Yes. The trial is 14 days for up to five people and no card is needed to start. Start a free trial or look around the demo first.
